Big Atlas Weekend is a chance to join in with other atlassers in North America and Puerto Rico to collect as much data as possible and engage in some fun challenges!

This year’s challenges are:

• Nocturnal checklists (submitted between 20 minutes after sunset and 40 minutes before sunrise)
• Newly coded or upgraded species in a square
• Checklists with breeding codes from an incomplete square

Challenge winners will receive free enrollment in any course offered by Bird Academy and all participants are eligible for 20% off any course offered by Bird Academy.

All the data collected between 6pm on Friday, June 28 and midnight on Sunday, June 30 will be recorded to determine who wins the challenges. Plus, data collected will help decide which state, province or territory brings home the trophy! Be sure to register for the Awards Ceremony held on Wednesday, July 3 @ 7:30 NDT via Zoom.
